Bill holds a BA in vocal/instrumental music education
with a minor in piano from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He has
done graduate work at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. After
graduating from UNL he taught high school music for five years in Neligh,
Nebraska, directing many award winning choirs, show choirs, and madrigal
groups.
While attending graduate school in Kansas City he could be heard performing
throughout the city at various hotels, nightspots and dinner theatres.
From 1992 to 1996 he served as the producer of the award winning television
broadcast of the Miss Missouri Pageant seen live across the state. In
1992, he started producing arrangements for competition to be used by
contestants on the local, state, and national levels of the Miss America
Pageant. From
1990 to 2008 Bill has worked on music for SEVEN Miss Americas and had
from one to five contestants place as semi-finalists every single year.
Music is Bill’s passion, and making every contestant he works with
the best that she can be is his specialty.
