About Bill

Bill holds a BA in Vocal/Instrumental Music Education with a minor in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He has done graduate work at the University of MO in Kansas City.

After graduating from UNL he taught high school music for five years in Neligh, Nebraska, directing many awarding winning choirs, show choirs and madrigal groups.

While attending graduate school in Kansas City he could be heard performing throughout the city at various hotels, nightspots, and dinner theatres. From 1992 to 1996 he served as the producer of the award winning television broadcast of the Miss Missouri Pageant seen live across the Show-Me state. In 1992 he started arranging, recording and producing competition tracks to be used on the local, state, and national levels of the Miss America Pageant. From 1990 to 2022 he has worked on music for TEN Miss America’s, and has had from one to nine contestants place as semi-finalists every single year. At the 2022 Miss America Pageant he did music for five of the top ten finalists, including the 1st runner up, Miss Alabama.

Music is Bill’s passion, and making every contestant he works with the best that she can be is his specialty.
